Yibo Wang is the Director of the "Renewable Energy Power Systems" department and a senior researcher at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. With over 20 years of experience in renewable energy generation systems and equipment technology, he leads the Expert Group of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for Renewable Energy Technology and contributes to the 2030 Major Project of Smart Grid Science and Technology Innovation. 

Dr. Yibo is actively involved in international collaborations as the Affordable and Reliable VRE Technology Lead of the Green Powered Future Mission, the Chinese co-lead of the "Smart Grids Innovation Challenge," and a Chinese expert of IEA TCP PVPS. He has successfully led numerous national and provincial projects, including those under the National Key Research and Development Program.
