Craig Fraser is an international R&I lead on green power within the UK Government Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ). Craig coordinates the UK contribution to the Green Powered Future Mission, and leads on Pillar 3 "Data and Digitalisation for System Integration". Craig also leads on organising the GPFM webinar series which brings together technical experts from the National Pilot projects. Within DESNZ, Craig works in the International Energy Innovation team, providing technical and strategic support on multilateral engagement. Previously, Craig worked in academia as a research chemist; first in Singapore where he obtained his Ph.D. in sustainable hydrogenation catalysis, before taking postdoctoral research positions in the USA and the UK.
